The Heritage Crafts Association is the advocacy body for traditional heritage crafts. It provides a focus for individuals and groups who care about the loss of traditional crafts skills, and works towards a healthy and sustainable framework for the future.

Arts and Crafts

Art in Action - A four-day event held each year at Waterperry Gardens, Oxfordshire where artists and craftsmen are invited to openly demonstrate their skills and discuss their work.  In addition to woodwork, disciplines include painting, sculpture, glass, textiles, ceramics, metalwork and jewellery.


Oxfordshire Artweeks - during May each year, a wide range of artists and crafts people exhibit their work. Entry to all exhibitions is free. 
craft&design - a bi-monthly magazine all about British Crafts.
